TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE ORDINANCE NOTICES

TAKE NOTICE that an ordinance entitled Ordinance No. 2025-918 BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN AND BY THE TOWNSHIP OF GREEN BROOK, IN THE COUNTY OF SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY, APPROPRIATING $2,400,000 THEREFOR AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $2,285,000 BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP TO FINANCE PART OF THE COST THEREOF, which is to provide for funding for the purchase of property for purposes of affordable housing. This ordinance was introduced and passed on first reading on November 17, 2025 and was finally adopted by the Township of Green Brook, County of Somerset, New Jersey, after public hearing held, December 29, 2025 and is effective upon first publication thereof after final adoption as provided by law.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Township Committee of the Township of Green Brook in the at a meeting held on December 15, 2025 introduced and passed on first reading an ordinance entitled: ORDINANCE 2025-918 BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN AND BY THE TOWNSHIP OF GREEN BROOK, IN THE COUNTY OF SOMERSET, NEW JERSEY, APPROPRIATING $2,400,000 THEREFOR AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $2,285,000 BONDS OR NOTES OF THE TOWNSHIP TO FINANCE PART OF THE COST THEREOF. This ordinance is to provide funding for the acquisition of the property at Block 76, Lot 30 for the purposes of developing a 100% affordable housing project.  Said ordinance will be considered for hearing and final passage at a meeting of the Township Committee to be held at 111 Greenbrook Road, Green Brook, NJ 08812 on 12/29/25 at 7:30pm.  A copy of the entire ordinance from the Municipal Clerk at Town Hall during business hours up to and including the time when the Township Committee shall further consider this ordinance for final passage.

Annual Meeting Notice

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 13 of Chapter 231, Public Law 1975, that the following has officially been adopted by the Land Use Board of the Township of Green Brook, in the County of Somerset, New Jersey as its schedule of regularly scheduled meetings for the Calendar Year 2026 and January 2027.

Regular meetings will be held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall on 111 Greenbrook Rd, Green Brook, NJ 08812.

Land Use Board – 2026 -2027 Scheduled Meeting Dates

Agendas, files, plans and maps relating to any applications scheduled for hearing will be posted on the Township website prior to the meeting. Alternatively, these documents are available for inspection by appointment at the Township of Green Brook Municipal Building (111 Greenbrook Road, Green Brook, New Jersey) by contacting Erin Santora LaGrua at elagrua@greenbrooktwp.org.
