Green Brook Dog Park will reopen tomorrow, June 6th pursuant to the Township's Emergency Order 2020-EO-004 (see below)

TOWNSHIP OF GREEN BROOK

EMERGENCY ORDER 2020-EO-004 - UPDATED

TO ALL RESIDENTS AND PERSONS WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP OF GREEN BROOK, COUNTY OF SOMERSET, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AND TO ALL DEPARTMENTS OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF THE TOWNSHIP OF GREEN BROOK.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the powers vested in us by Chapter 251 of the Laws of 1942, as amended and supplemented by N.J.S.A. APP 9-30 et. Seq. And N.J.S.A. 2C:33-1 et seq., we have declared that a local emergency exists within the Township of Green Brook, County of Somerset, State of New Jersey; and

WHEREAS, an emergency declaration for the Township of Green Brook was issued on March 16, 2020 and will remain in force until rescinded; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-40.5 of Article VI of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of Green Brook, during the period that an emergency declaration remains in force, the Mayor may promulgate such regulations and take such other action as he deems necessary to protect life and property of the residents and to preserve critical resources.

NOW, THEREFORE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH the aforesaid laws, it is promulgated and declared that the following regulations shall be in addition to all other laws of the State of New Jersey and the Township of Green Brook,

  1. The Dog Park located at 261 Greenbrook Road, is hereby reopened on Saturday, June 6, 2020, with the following requirements.
    1. All requirements of Governor Murphy’s Executive Orders regarding outdoor activities shall be complied with.
  2. Penalties for violations of this Emergency Order may be imposed under, among other statutes, N.J.S.A. 40:49-5.

THIS ORDER SHALL TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY AND SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL THE CURRENT EMERGENCY DECLARATION HAS BEEN RESCINDED.
