Household items only, such as: old furniture, rugs, and collections from attic, basement or tool shed. Place items at curbside the weekend of May 3-4. PLEASE DO NOT PUT OUT MATERIAL EARLIER.
1) Piles can be no larger than 6’ tall, 6’ wide, and 12’ long. Piles that are larger than this will not be removed.
2) Glass items shall be placed in boxes. Plate glass shall be taped with duct tape to prevent broken glass from injuring our workers. Should any glass items get broken while at the curbside, they will be the owner’s responsibility to clean up.
3) REPORT any illegal of dumping of garbage to the Township Police Department. Remember that the township has to pay for the removal of illegally dumped waste.
The following items WILL NOT be picked up: major appliances, concrete, propane tanks, broken glass, tree stumps, tires, paint and other toxic materials, recyclables, large amounts of building materials. If possible, metal items should be separated so that they can be collected separately . |
April 14th to April 18th Pickup for all residential properties located south of Route 22 and west of Madison Avenue. All branches must be curbside by April 14th.
April 21st to April 25th Pickup for all residential properties located north of Route 22. All branches must be curbside by April 21st.
April 28th to May 2nd Pickup for all residential properties located south of Route 22 and east of Madison Avenue. All branches must be curbside by April 28th.
Tree limbs up to 6' in diameter should be left whole. Small branches should be bundled with brush. Please put sticker bushes in a separate pile. DO NOT MIX WITH LEAVES. This program is for maintenance of landscaped residential property only, NOT FOR CLEARING OF WOODED LOTS. Please keep debris away from all Fire Hydrants. Place branches at curbside the weekend before your scheduled pickups. |
Due to stricter regulations, the township can no longer pickup Freon-based appliances unless they are evacuated by a licensed company and a sticker is affixed to the appliance. Washers, dryers, stoves, and dishwashers are collected all year long for a $5 pickup fee.
