Traffic Pattern Change for Saturday, 10/20

NOTICE TO USERS OF GREEN BROOK MIDDLE SCHOOL, SATURDAY OCTOBER 20th
On Saturday, October 20th, Somerset County will sponsor a free shred event at
the Green Brook Middle School. The shredders will be open from 9 to 1, but it
is expected that Somerset County residents may begin to arrive as early as 8
am.
In consultation with the Green Brook Police Department, the traffic pattern on
Jefferson Avenue will be temporarily reconfigured this Saturday, to allow for
access to the south parking lot for sporting events and the safe queuing of cars
for the shred event. A uniformed Police Officer will be present to ensure the
safe access for neighborhood residents and those accessing the sports facilities
and shredding event and will attempt to get everyone where they need to go in
a safe and expeditious manner.
The north bound travel lane of Jefferson Avenue in front of the School will be
used for the south bound traffic to access the shred event. All exiting traffic
from the Middle School will go across the front of the building and out the
northernmost exit.

Residents of Jefferson Avenue and organizations that are using the Middle School have all been notified.
